Mrs. Nader joined Orangewood Elementary as the principal in July, 2015. She was born and raised in Fort Myers where she attended elementary, middle, and high school in Lee County. She is proud to be the principal of the school where she and other family members attended elementary school. Prior to Orangewood, Mrs. Nader was the principal of G. Weaver Hipps Elementary in Lehigh Acres. Before becoming a principal, she was the assistant principal at Treeline Elementary for 5 years and North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts for 2 years. When she was in the classroom, she was a first and third grade teacher. Mrs. Nader LOVES spending time with kids and is passionate about her job as a principal. She believes in having high expectations for all students. She is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure all students have a positive learning experience.
While not in school Mrs. Nader enjoys spending time with her family. She is a busy wife and mother to three boys: Austin, Cory, and Jordan. In her free time she likes to spend time on the boat, at the beach, and running.
Our Assistant Principal
Mrs. Crews joined the Orangewood family in January, 2016. Since moving to Florida from Seattle, Washington in 2004, she has taught first and second grades at Diplomat Elementary and Orange River Elementary. She also worked as a teacher-on-assignment in charge of curriculum, training and resources for Adult Education. Mrs. Crews also spent nine years teaching kindergarten, first, second, third, seventh and eighth grades in the Seattle School District. Mrs. Crews loves being a mom to Jackson, and in her free time she enjoys playing golf, taking Zumba classes, and reading.
